In ‘The Frogs and the Lobsters’, Major Edrington insists on Lt HH calling him ‘my Lord’
A Royal Navy Leiutenant is equivalent to a British Army Lt Colonel. Even taking into account the Major’s qualification as lead officer by virtue of their task (a land battle), the fact is that HH outranks Edrington, so why does he get away with all the pomp?
