Lord Edward Fitzgerald

Lord Edward Fitzgerald of Ireland was an historic aristocrat and revolutionary. He died of wounds received resisting arrest for treason during the Irish Rebellion of 1798.

Barry McCool, deserter, was compared to Wolf Tone and Fitzgerald while he was awaiting court martial and his ultimate punishment by hanging aboard HMS Renown
